A. Since down is a natural material, it is not odorless.
The raw material is washed to minimize the smell, but it may still be noticeable immediately after unpacking or due to environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.

Countermeasure 1: Replace the air inside the comforter.
Folding the comforter into a smaller size and pressing down from above to push out the air can be effective.

Countermeasure 2: Dry the down comforter.
Drying it in a well-ventilated, shaded area can alleviate the release of fats.

Although this product is often used in colder seasons, if it has been in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment during delivery, the down may retain heat.
In such cases, cooling the down can mitigate the smell.

Countermeasure 3: Store in a well-ventilated place.
If possible, store it in a cool, dry place with adequate ventilation to suppress the growth of odor-causing bacteria and the melting of fats.
