The raw feathers are thoroughly cleaned at the factory, and impurities are removed through domestic 3D power-up processing, transforming them into light, fluffy, and voluminous down.
The warmth of a down comforter depends on how much air the down can contain.
Even with the same amount of down, the presence or absence of power-up processing results in a significant difference in air content, so power-up processed down comforters are highly recommended.
【What is Aller G Plus?】
Aller G Plus, which has acquired the SEK mark, reacts to pollen, dust mites, and house dust, rendering them harmless.
It is a process that uses specially generated inorganic salts for the down.
Additionally, domestic power-up processing alone is short-term in effect.
Therefore, Aller G Plus, which maintains its effectiveness over time, is adopted to ensure a consistently clean state with the double processing of 【Domestic Power-Up Processing】【Aller G Plus】.
Q. Concerned about the smell of the down comforter.
A. Down is a natural material and not odorless.
The raw feathers are washed to minimize any odor, but a smell may be noticeable immediately after unpacking or due to environmental factors such as temperature and humidity.
Measure ①: Exchange the air inside the comforter. Folding the comforter into a smaller size and pressing down from above to expel the air inside is effective.
Measure ②: Dry the down comforter. Hanging it in a well-ventilated, shaded area can mitigate the release of oils and fats.
Although this product is often used in cold seasons, if it has been in a hot and humid environment upon delivery, the down may retain heat. In such cases, cooling the down can alleviate the odor.
Measure ③: Store in a well-ventilated area.
Storing in as dry and cool a place as possible, with adequate ventilation, can suppress the proliferation of odor-causing bacteria and the melting of oils and fats.
※ Do not use deodorizing sprays. Spraying deodorizing agents used for clothing and bedding can introduce moisture and have the opposite effect.
Q. The comforter lacks volume…
A. The down gradually regains its loft after opening.
Due to compact packaging, the recovery rate of the down immediately after opening is about 50-80% depending on the environment, such as temperature and humidity.
By performing air massage and airing, the down comforter will restore to its original fluffy state over approximately two weeks of use.
※ Air massage involves gently kneading each section of the comforter to allow air into the down, helping the comforter to regain its fluffiness immediately after opening.
Q. There are black spots inside the comforter… Is it mold?
A. It is colored down. It is not mold.
Black spots may be visible through the fabric, but they are actually colored down.
Even with white duck or goose down, colored down may occasionally be mixed in. There is no quality issue.
Q. Can the down comforter be washed?
A. It cannot be washed at home.
Moisture in the down can cause odor.
For longevity, it is recommended to consult a nearby professional cleaner and to use a cover to protect it from dirt during regular use.
