$15.48

Description

Japanese swords were invented at the end of the Heian period, and have continued to be produced up until the present day. Swords made before that time have a straight, uncurved shape and are known as Jokoto. This time, we will focus on the swords in the Shosoin Repository, which form the core of Jokoto, and will look at various styles of Jokoto, such as the ring-headed sword, the Shichiseiken sword that is said to have been worn by Prince Shotoku, and the Heishi Shorinken sword, and follow the flow that led to Japanese swords. The second feature is "Famous Japanese Swords." Following on from the first feature, we will provide an overview of famous Japanese swords, from Mikazuki Munechika in the Heian period to Daikei Naotane in the late Edo period. The third feature features details on the sword inspired by a white dragon that will be unveiled for the first time at the Azur Lane Sword Collaboration Traditional Crafts Collaboration Stage! Folded poster: Heishi Shorinken & Kuki Masamune
