Regarding the “Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji” (1831-35), all 46 illustrations are currently considered the most beautiful prints, carefully selected by the supervisor from collections both domestically and internationally. The essence of this art is reproduced at actual size.

Using over 40 years of expertise in art book publishing, a special paper developed by a renowned publisher is used to recreate the texture of ukiyo-e. This achieves a high quality that does not seem like printing.

Twelve rare trial prints, highly valued by enthusiasts, are included, showcasing the behind-the-scenes of the artist’s work.

The final years of the artist were marked by an unceasing creative drive, resulting in a three-volume sketch collection, “One Hundred Views of Mount Fuji,” capturing all 102 illustrations at actual size through new photography of the first prints never before shown in art collections.

Newly written manuscripts based on the latest research by the supervisor, the director of a dedicated art museum, include the main text and explanations of the works.
