【Beautiful Maki-e and Kanazawa Gold Leaf】The base uses high-quality domestic soda glass. Although machine-made, each piece has a subtly different natural curl shape (twisted form), where fingers naturally fit into the indented areas. The shapes vary slightly, offering the charm of having no two identical pieces. The design of “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” (Ukiyo-e by Katsushika Hokusai) is drawn using the traditional Kaga hand-painted Maki-e technique with natural lacquer, and lavishly adorned with Kanazawa gold leaf for a luxurious finish. It can be used for both cold sake and hot sake.
