Echizen Daishi paper is an art paper with fibers scattered across the surface of traditional Japanese paper. It is processed with crumpled paper technique. The paper quality is both firm and flexible. It is durable and non-transparent, making it suitable for various applications. The deep, calm colors characteristic of Japanese aesthetics are its hallmark. There are 15 colors: cream, peach, cherry blossom, water, young leaves, dark gray, tea, ochre, brick, rust light yellow, wisteria purple, ultramarine, vermilion, and crimson. The front side features Daishi paper, while the back side is plain, allowing for use of either side. It is tear-resistant, making it versatile for uses such as gift wrapping or placemats. The set contains 15 sheets, one of each color. The size of the Japanese paper is approximately 25.7×36.5 cm, which corresponds to B4 size. Made in Japan.

In April 2021, a new color series was introduced. Echizen Daishi paper is an art paper with fibers scattered on the surface, making it ideal for origami with Japanese motifs due to the vibrant appearance of the fibers. The paper is processed to have a crumpled texture, providing a firm yet flexible quality. It is opaque and durable. The deep, subdued colors characteristic of Japanese aesthetics are a highlight. The 15 new colors introduced in 2021 include white, cream, peach, cherry blossom, water, tea, vermilion, crimson, grass, light wisteria, wisteria, bush warbler, light tea, silver gray, and red. The front side features Daishi paper, while the back is plain, allowing for versatile use. Washi size is approximately 25.7×36.5 cm, B4 size. Made in Japan.
