Description

The traditional craft knives from Nagasaki Prefecture, known as Matsubara knives, have a history dating back to the Heike clan’s swordsmith, whose descendant established a workshop in Matsubara, Hizen, in 1474.
They forged swords at the Yahata Shrine and crafted sickles for farmers.
These knives are masterpieces with a history of over 550 years.
