Description

Each blade features a unique pattern with a 101-layer flower Damascus finish and a “katana edge,” incorporating the style of Japanese knives. The D-shaped handle is crafted from natural birch wood.

This is the most common small knife, fitting comfortably in hand, making it ideal for tasks such as peeling fruits and vegetables in midair.

It is said to be the most used knife in Japanese households, combining the strengths of the traditional Japanese nakiri knife and the Western chef’s knife.

The straight edge portion of the blade is well-defined, making it suitable for push cutting. In the current Japanese food boom, it is known as ‘Santoku’ and is used in kitchens not only in Japan but around the world.
